Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were bigger and cleaner than expected, with spacious beds and nice amenities. The service was generally welcoming, but there were occasional lapses. The location is terrific, close to downtown activities and entertainment. Dining options were limited and somewhat pricey. Overall, a good stay with a few drawbacks.
The hotel room was a bit disappointing due to the drain on the floor, which made me request a room change. The room was also musty and smelly, small, and dirty, situated between the noisy ice machine and elevator. However, the service went above and beyond, especially when my late check-in was handled with great hospitality by the bartender. The location was excellent for attending Winter Fest/First Night Hartford events, with outstanding front desk clerks Cherene and Christina. Although a bit pricey and with limited dining options, the facilities were exceptional overall.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms offered an upgrade choice upon check-in at no additional cost, but they were not connected as I had requested. The service was extremely polite and helpful, making up for any minor aesthetic shortcomings. The location was perfect for my plans in Hartford, although it could use a touch of cozier ambiance. The dining options were mediocre at best and could benefit from some enhancements.
